Justin Hoffman: Laughter Workshop
Go on have a laugh... it might just do you good. Even a forced smile can work wonders - a good laugh is a natural tonic, and it is often therapeutic to laugh for no reason. We should forget the dreadful weather and pressures of life – and look at ourselves in the mirror (“that’s a laugh for a start”) and have a good chortle. Look forward to having a laugh with Justin in this practical workshop: monkeylaugh2004@yahoo.co.uk

Paradox: Surrendered Preparation & prepared surrender
Life is full of surprises, so what to do? Can we prepare for the seemingly inevitable climate and earth changes? Can we prepare for the personal changes brought by ageing i.e. decay, disease, pain, loss and death? When is surrender appropriate? What does it really mean? How does it help? These are the question we will be asking and attempting to answer. Paradox describes himself as a "one-legged existential stand-up beat poet". He hopes to open the session by reading his poem The Matrix.
6pm
Guy Gladstone: Pulsing
Pulsing is a movement-based passive bodywork. Movements of stretching, lifting, jiggling, shaking, rotating and swinging are applied within a matrix of soft and persistent rhythmic rocking of a prone or supine body from which no effort is demanded. The message conveyed is that life can be easier. Thus Pulsing is a delight to give and a treat to receive: www.bodyspace.co.uk
