Programme 2009: Kids Zone

  Parents Welcome ! The Kids Zone not a creche, so parents remain responsible for their children at all times. This area has has a changing table and a sit-down area as well as its own toilet facilities, and is open until 5pm. Of course kids are welcome in the rest of the festival too!

Lucy Pook - The Future is Green.....Making Greens Tasty
Teaching kids how to enjoy eating greens and why they are so important, plus other Vital nutritional 'gems'. Excuse the pun. Lucy Pook is a naturopathic nutritionist who has travelled the world giving motivational talks for over 10 years on cruise ships, retreats and Evolution Arts in Brighton. She is also a Raw Chocolatier and health journalist.

Deborah Hayes - Childrens Yoga
45 minutes of Fun and relaxing yoga for children including warm ups games and breathing. Deborah has been practising yoga for 10 years and teaching yoga to children for the past 3 years. Contact: Yoga Bugs - 07733 250960

Stephen A Frugavor - Creative Balloon Sculpturing
Hands-on experience for age groups 5 to 95ys old, learning how to make balloon animals and other interesting objects, followed by a bubble blowing performance Contact: Bouncing Bubbles - 0113 261 0057

Zoot Lynam - Drama Games and Creative Play for Children
Children will have the chance to explore creativity through play, improvisation and story. Zoot has worked as an actor, musician, performer since forever. he does workshops from time to time. He enjoys playing with the boundaries between the real and the imaginary.

Rebecca Rainbow - Magic Journeys
Offering the weary children, over excited by the days events a chance to enter the world of her Magic Journeys, Wishing Workshop (with the magic egg!), Nuts about Nutrition drama fun and yoga!
Rebecca has been a professonal primary school teacher for 15 years as well as a performer and writer. She is soon to officially launch; her company Blissed Kids and The Magical Rainbow Bird project.

Hannah Roberts - Wild Weaving with Willow
Bring acorns , berries, grass or whatever has fallen from trees to weave in to willow. Hannah teaches at a Steiner School.
